Thank you, another great reason to hold UL events at Blackham and to refurbish this building.Originally Posted by Turbine

I have sources telling me that Blackham will be the new home for the Lady Cajuns.
Who are you, what are your ties to UL, how are you involved, and who are your sources?Originally Posted by JamesCajun

Moved here a couple years ago, and got to know some people within the program. My connection to UL is just as a local follower. And I can't reveal the source as this isn't yet been announced publicly
Thanks, and Welcome to the Acadiana Area! Hope to see you at many many UL events!Originally Posted by JamesCajun

That would be awesome, and the facility should be renamed the Perrot-Blackham Center.Originally Posted by JamesCajun

The more posts i read about using blackham as the new women's facility, the more i like it. I have a hard time believing that it would cost all that much money to convert that place into a really cool place to watch a game. I think that a real concession booth could be made, instead of bringing in carts or whatever they do now. The restrooms were semi-upgraded just a short while ago. some upgrades to the seating would be nice for comfort, and also to make the place a little more intimate. not to mention the potential for that building/land where eklong is now.Originally Posted by Cajun Express
i would also like to see it named for kim perrot. who is blackham anyway? maybe we can find something else to name after her/him. rename the place "Perrot Fieldhouse". that would be awesome.
I'd much rather Kim Perrot Court at Blackham Coliseum. We wouldn't have to change signs, and a court logo would be easier, and given our budget, cheaper to pull off.Originally Posted by rhineaux
