R, LOL!!!! I've been saying it for years. Years! The point you're missing over and over is that in order to win you must have the coaches, the facilities and the "hosses". That's why I listed those items in another message instead of "moaning" about how much I donate. Bottom line here is that it all costs money.

I keep waiting for DaddyCajun to jump in here with a report on all that's going one. Me, I say each and every one of us needs to pitch in too.

The whacky Kool aid sippin' Cajun cultists behind at the secret Cajun cult site are joining up right now to make a good sized donation towards the endowment drive for summer school scholarships. When it's in place this will allow a bunch of football players to stay over and work out during summers while in school. It can make a HUGE difference on the field.

But, wouldn't you know it - that costs money.

You can certainly pitch in and help out if you want to. Anybody can.

I hope you are right in making a huge difference on the field. You don't raise money from a website by restricting access to it. Good luck. Why on Earth would I pitch in?

Frankly, I don't see you "pitching in" in any way that might be positive.

For all others reading, our drive has done well. Charlie G. is the man to talk to if you, a group and/or a business wants to help directly.

That says it all doesn't it? Don't worry the rest will do all the heavy lifting until the team earns your respect, and money.

In the meantime all you other guys who want to make a difference follow Destin's lead.

I can't believe you actually said this!

What is wrong with you? The money collected will benefit OUR FOOTBALL TEAM with summer school/workouts....what problem do you have with that?

Let's just say I don't trust the Delphi people. I couldn't pitch in if I wanted to because I don't have access to it.

I don't mind pitching in to I cause I understand and to people I trust. Nothing has been explained. Oh yea it probably is on that super secret board. Oh well good luck. You never comment on anything positive I have to say. Troy has the target on their back this year and Lemming's said we have meet our needs.

Here is the deal 90. There is a scholarship fund being set up to raise a million dollars to endow summer tuition. The idea was presented at the recruiting bash. The concept was to get a thousand people to donate a thousand dollars. Clearly they will take less, or you could make a thousand dollar loan as an individual who may not be as well off, but wants to support. A Delphi group member has asked the Delphi group to donate as a group the $1,000.00. The asked for amount is $50.00, but members are free to donate more or less. The goal has been met with around $1500.00. He may also be able to get a matching fund so this group could be good for a $3,000.00 donation. This is something most everyone can afford to do once a year. Again you don't have to be a member of this group, you can make any contribution that you are comfortable with directly to the fund, the thousand dollars is just a clean way to get the job done.

So what do you think? If you want the name of the fund contact I will be glad to get you the information, it is not at my fingertips. I would not have said anything except you were arguing with Destin who unlike you and I has not been arguing.

I glad you are well off. You assume I'm not because I'm in a profession that usually doesn't pay well. Did it ever occur to you that I do more than teach? I actually have three jobs. Send me something professional looking and who I'm actually sending the money to and how to send it and I will do what I can. If you don't send me anything then I will not give anything. I want to know who it is going through and not a delphi group of people that I don't trust. I will be talking to that heavy hitter I talked to you about at my school because he coached a sports program. If you can give me something that doesn't look like a handout he might be able to cover everything.

It is ashame that you took the low road with me. We live in close proximity and both you and I had some great ideas. Together we could have put together a good NOLA alumni association even if it would be unofficial. The official ones think that a small get together at local eatery is great idea. Private message me the details and I will consider it and pass it on the rich alumni I know.

Sorry, that was poorly worded the "you" was not meant for YOU but the generic you, the you that can be singular or plural. I really did not mean to imply you are in poverty. I am sure you make a fine living. Also there are plenty of people who would give who make a fine living, but a thousand bucks is a lot after taxes and other living expenses, so some choose to give a tax free gift and then pay it off over time. We are done, if you want to give that is what it is about, you pleaded ignorance on the subject you were brought up to speed, but chose to look for something more than was there.

You are really something else. The only thing smart the delphi folks did was doing this during tax season which I assume could be written off as a charity. You have taken everything you know about me and used it against me or disregarded it. My son which still has the illness that I talked about on delphi before being banned is going to Pittsburgh for a possible cure. It is not life threatening now but you _____es didn't understand that I'm having real extra expenses and it can develop to be life threating. You also disregarded that I put up three families for Rita and Katrina for three months. I hope you and your family especially your grandchildren which it seems you really care about have happy and healthy lives. Don't you think it would have been Sooo easy to lie to you guys? It is not me to lie. I might post something that is not correct as you guys easily point out but it is not meant as a lie. I will keep you and your grandchildren in my prayers. Will you pray for my son?

90 I will always offer a prayer for you and those close to you. Nobody I know has any desire but the best for you regardless of differing opinions. Good luck with your son's treatment.
