It's usually either a) grades, b) he really wanted to go somewhere else and we let him go, c) we got a commitment from somebody we like better, or d) he got in some kind of trouble and we cut bait. I won't speculate on what it is or isn't, but it's probably a little late in the game for "c" to be the answer in this case, IMO. I just don't see this staff screwing a kid like that. But we'll find out the answer for sure tonight (and a lot of other answers to a lot of other questions) on Cajun Redzone Chat at 9PM, be there!

Your release of his commitment tells him he should look elsewhere because we are not holding a scholarship for him. In other words while he was not bound, we were. We can only guess what prompted us to release.
