Especially since they've owned us for the last 6 years or so. Now...I will admit, though, that beating us must be the high point of their season...cause by the end of the season they've gone to crap. They haven't made the NCAA tourney since 1996 I believe.

It’s bizarre to see this program at the bottom rung of the Sun Belt standings. But 1B Chase Compton (.328), SS Ryan Leonard (.327) and 3B Tyler Girouard (.298) lead a solid D.

I am somewhat confident that we will surprise people this year and finish with a pretty good season. Its still disappointing, though, to be viewed as lowly as we are currently...and to be expected by some to finish down in the basement.

Well with middle, fiu and fau leaving, what's left? Even UNO brought some respect to the league. Texas state is a pretty good program but not near enough to over come those losses.

Lets focus on #138 Central Michigan first. A nice start bs them could garner a good bit of respect to start the season. Winnable games vs nw st and Utsa after that give us a good chance at a nice starting record through the first 8 games.
