Perry Stevenson to Louisiana ?

Heard on Footnotes that Perry Stevenson Might be tranfering from Kentucky to Louisiana. Dam that would be GREAT!

That would be incredible. I was watching KU during the Tourney and he looked like he was holding his own, even saw a dunk.

It is most likely becuase Tubby Smith is moving to the University of Minnesota. I'm sure PT is a factor as well.

Big Dave said that it is pretty much official and Perry will be enrolled in summer school at UL. Big Dave said he is transferring because Tubby left for Minnessota and Perry is ready to come home. I personally cant wait to see the Cajuns in 2 years.

He sounds like a great player and was highly rated and recruited coming out of high school. He is 6'9" and weighs about 178, which is pretty slight. Was he playing center or forward at Kentucky?

Do you know where he got his info from? Or has he just spoken to the family and know that PS is thinking/wanting to transfer? Please some details or at least anything that you may know.

The first thing i thought of when i heard this was if it was because of Tubby Smith leaving. that was only announced Wednesday or thursday, and I heard about PS transfering on Friday. Which makes me curious if he is homesick, and the Tubby thing pushed him over the hill, or if he wanted to leave regardless, etc...

Big Dave called into another show saying it was a conclusion he came to not based on fact or conversations. His reasoning made sense but I can't remember what he said.

Well guys I spoke to Perry's Cousin and Perry is not transfering anywhere next year. He said maybe his mind could change depending on who the next coach would be but he never had a thought about transferring.
