Man, Gros always looked like he was throwing BP. I guess HS kids were used to that speed(or lack of).

Nah... We had some really good hitters, and we taught them to foul off the fastball and sit on the changeup. Our kids' eyes would light up when then saw him take the hill for CC. Gros couldn't throw the FB past them.
