    J. Tatford also has the All time Hit by pitch record.

Though Bryan Sneed had the hit by pitch record?

I could be wrong but I think Tatford surpassed him.

The list I made was just going off of guys I have actually seen play. Unfortunately, I have never seen the great Papo, X-man, or Ron actually play. They would defiantly be at the top of that list. The guys on my mock lineup are from roughly 1997-Current a.k.a. The Robe Era. I wish I could have been around to see the Boulanger and pre-Boulanger Era.

Any fair compilation of an All-Time team will include almost the same number of players from both the Robichaux years and the Boulanger years. It would also include a few pre-Boulanger such as Guidry and Dark.
    100% agree.

I saw PAPO play as well as many others on this list. And I may start an argument here, but it is hard to start any ALL TIME CAJUN team without him. He was the Jose Cruz of UL. He could do it all, the best combination of offense and defense that the Cajuns have ever had. Had it not been for an unfortunate incident in the minor leagues, I do belive Papo would have played in the majors. Papo was a beast and a super nice guy to boot. I know we have had some good players since Papo, but he would start for any Cajun team since he played.

Also I think that one of the most interesting position is Catcher, you have Massiate, Bako and Lucroy. I know Lucroy has some great Major League numbers, but Massiate played AAA for most of his career and Bako was a journeyman catcher in the Majors for some 13 years. I had the pleasure of being in school when Bako played, he will always be my favorite for the way he played the game and his love for the Cajuns, he played all out, every game.

I seem to remember some stories about Papo, and from what I remember he was a guy who played with an attitude, and he'd let the other team know about it.

I miss chanting "Papo!!!" every time he came to bat.

Man we had some good times at Tigue back then.

Not to mention the Popeye-esque forearms he had!! Nation, kinda surprised Bubba Carlin's name hadn't popped up for his baserunning. ;-)

He played all out 100 percent of the time. If that is what you mean. He had an attitude for sure, but backed it up play after play. My favorite cajun of all time. That "attitude won us lots of games".
