Plans are under way for a new 4-H and agriculture center in Scott that officials say will bring an economic boost to the area and provide students who compete in livestock shows a state-of-the-art facility. Plans for the Acadiana 4-H and Agriculture Center were unveiled Saturday morning at the Lafayette Parish 4-H/FFA Livestock show's final day in Blackham Coliseum.
