Acadiana is known for its generosity, especially in times of need. Before, during and after the recent flood we've heard stories of neighbors helping neighbors.
Last week, the Clay family was bracing for flooding. They live on LA-100 in the town of Evangeline in Acadia Parish. The Clays had about four feet of water in their yard, but luckily their home is built eight feet above ground and water didn't get in.
As you can imagine, the flood made for some trying times especially when the kids are cooped up inside.
