    Your correct I was implying that when HUD leaves he would replace him. Not saying that I want him to or that he could. Just asked what the board thought about him being a head coach.

    I like Houston grads thought..lets see how he does as DC. Also like VO,s opinion that he doesnt have one. Just a question.

    The guy has been around some big programs. I hope he works out as DC.

    All that matters right now is we take it up a couple of notches on defense this coming year and the man recruits according to his reputation.

    Responding to multiple reports that UL planned to announce the hiring of James Willis as its replacement for ousted defensive coordinator Greg Stewart sometime next week, Cajuns head coach Mark Hudspeth would only say Friday that the former Texas Tech defensive coordinator is "one of the final candidates" and that "no agreement" has been reached.

    James Willis, who served as associate head coach and outside linebackers coach at Alabama in 2009 when the Crimson Tide won the BCS championship, has been named the defensive coordinator for the Ragin’ Cajuns football team. Head coach Mark Hudspeth made the announcement on Thursday (Feb. 7).

    HUD downplayed how much willis had to do with this class, but I don't believe him. Maybe he meant he hasn't...yet

    if we get a defense with our offense and start putting up some of those boise st type blowouts, thats when people start paying attention. Boise st didnt just win all their games, they beat the big boys but dominated their conference foes over and over again.
