He would be my choice and i hear he is at the top of Hud's list. I also like Lance Guidry, so i think either way it is a win, win. I hear Willis is a very good recruiter.

With Jaluke being hired at La Tech, I think Willis would be a great choice to offset Jaluke in recruiting.

James Willis is a bold but exciting football hire. He has a great coaching background and I'm sure if Coach Hud likes him, he will be good for UL.

Can people explain to me why they're so excited about this hire? I just dont see it. He was pretty bad as a DC at Texas Tech, and he runs a 3-4 which we were pretty bad at last year. He may be a good recruiter but I dont see how he fits as a DC.
