Since his hiring as UL's new defensive coordinator was formally announced a little more than a month ago, James Willis has spent plenty of time watching film.
No cushy stadium-style movie-theater seating, though, and certainly no buttered popcorn.

Wish him the best. NC winning team aside, is it common for a DC to take a positions coaching gig? Wish we could get a bigger pool of money for our assistant coaching staff.
Pretty sure pay vs working on a national championship program are mutually exclusive. Of course he takes the position, it is career development.
Well, anyone have any ideas as far as replacement candidates go?
He was associate head coach at bama under saban. He was a DC at big 12. I think his career is developed. We need to get our assistants salaries up. I'm surprised we haven't lost more.
