Latest reports say Stewart is going in a different direction professionally. Could be wrong but sounds like he is getting out of coaching.
Can anyone confirm who exactly has been officially offered the job?
You sound like Stevie P was sounding this morning. Head in the sand and completely taken aback at why this was done.
I'll paraphrase: I thought Coach Stewart was doing a great job. He was a really nice guy. I always enjoyed the time I spent talking to and interviewing him.
The last two things are probably true, but the man wasn't cutting it.
I'm surprised Stevie talked about sports instead of scrambled egg and pancake specials at the Lucky Deuces.
Rarely listen to 1420 if at all anymore. I listen to Jay's show and that is about it. 103.7 is better IMO.
I'm traveling to work between 7 and 8 during the one hour Stevie P monologue. He used to take calls during that time which were a little entertaining, but the crap he does now is unbearable.
Mike & Mike is my preference now.
And I don't mind 103.7 after The Great Scott Show ends at 6. As long as the stuff on there isn't LSU related.
Also it's nice to be 20-30 miles outside the city and still get nice, clear reception on the radio.
Funny how we went from Greg Stewart to the 1420 vs. 103.7 debate.
This coaching move lets me know Coach Hudspeth is not satisfied with two 9-4 seasons. The team did not reach their goals to "protect the house" by winning all home games or winning the SBC. Coach Hudspeth believes this will get us to the next level. I admire his ambition and support him 110 percent.
