I could care less whether he knows the area. I do care that I thought that WKU had the best defense in the conference. They lost conference games largely by being inept offensively.

A close friend of mine from Carencro hates the guy. He is not the only person I know who says the samethings but here are a few reasons... 1. when he first arrived at Carencro he ran off a lot of boosters who still don't have anything to do with the program. 2. when he decided to leave, he left late in the game, making it difficult to hire. 3. he might have been a players coach but I have heard he is not a very pleasant person.

Terry Tidwell from STM would be wonderful, if he would ever want to leave the High School level, which he has always been adamant about not doing. He puts up fantastic defenses every year with great schemes with a bunch of white kids. Imagine what he could do with our talent.

I have no idea about number 1
On number that was going into my senior season when he left. One week we are preparing for the next season, the next week he is leaving. Although me and him personally talked about this. I can not fault him for what he did, he was doing the best thing for his son janzen jackson. Janzen had started to get into alot trouble with the people in the area so he had to move him out of there. The move worked out temporarily as janzen stayed out of trouble at barbe, but he couldnt stay away from the trouble at Tennessee.

Long story short yes it put us in a bind, where we didnt have time to do a serious coaching search. But he did not want to make that decision but was kind of forced into it, so i can not fault him

On number 3 he never seemed unpleasant to me, he has always been a nice guy who you could talk to anytime

In no way am i saying he should be our choice, i will be happy with whoever the coaching staff chooses, i have 100% trust in them

Maybe bc he is a high school coach. Our program is beyond having to go that route.
