Wow...insightful....instead of assuming why don't you ask me who I meant....oh wait...that REALLY is none of your business who I meant. But just for you ,I meant it as a general statement. As in the admin...coaches...Farmer...just a general statement. So don't go twisting things around.
Another thing....what if Hud is planning to push for raises for his staff and the incoming DC comes from a bigger conference...don't you think the program (HUD, farmer, Coaches and the admin) would have to atleast support the incoming guy thereby offering some level of commitment? I would think so. Don't pick a fight just to pick a fight....it make you look rather petty.
You never know how good you got it,until it is gone...Be careful what u wish for.
Also...if you don't think that "other people" deserve credit for our program being turned around then you are mistaken. I have ALWAYS said that they can do better. The plan if seriously over due, fundraising is woefully lacking (much more can be included) and yet we still find a way to win. And i do fault the President for not doning enough....the buck stops at his office but they at least deserve credit for NOT being better road block!
Thats the same assinine statement people made about Bustle. "If he leaves who are you going to go get that is better?" Fact of the matter is our defense has not been good the last 2 years. In 2011 we were able to make big plays but we gave up gobs of yards and points. Will we get someone who is better? No one knows but if you don't make a change you definitely won't get better.
Case in point when Bustle fired Pry.
I will say one good thing or two about coach Stewart and his defense.
His defensive game plan was great. His defenses really performed great in the first quarter. He only gave up 5 points per first quarter all year long .
Unfortunatly when the opponent adjusted he did not. The defense gave up 11 points per second quarter.
Points aside he played with fire in allowing opponents to drive up and down the field to the tune of 5555 yards. In light of that it is amazing that the opponents only averaged a TD per quarter.
