Ragin' Cajuns Meet the New Orleans Bowl Champs and help a Great Charity

The Abbeville Fire Department and the Leukemia and Lymphomas Society invite Cajun Nation to come out in full force to support the UL Ragin Cajuns and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society at (Black's Oyster Bar and Restaurant
319 Pere Megret St, Abbeville, Louisiana 70510). Brett Baer, Harry Peoples and many other players will be on hand. Players from the team will on hand to sign autographs and take pictures. Bring your jerseys, helmets, photos, and other Ragin Cajun Gear! Though the public is invited to donate more, we ask for a minimum of $20 donation for each person to go through the line and get autographs of all players and hopefully coaches that attend. In order to keep the line moving and all Cajun fans have a chance for autographs we ask fans to limit 2 autographed items of memorabilia per person.

Our goal is to reach $50,000 to have the honor of naming a research grant for Cale Langlinais, the 4 year old son of Chad and Jenee Langlinais of Delcambre and Erath who has battled Leukemia since 2010.

More players and hopefully coaches will be introduced as we get closer to the event!!!

If you would like more information and or potential sponsorship to help us with the event please contact:

I'll see if I can get some more info. I know Cale was heading to Philadelphia for treatments.

Speaking to some of the guys (players) today it appears pretty much the entire team will come down for the event...we are still working on Coach Hud's Availability and his participation. I hope its a win win for all.

Good to hear. atc, do you know if Harris will be there? I got the #46 blackout jersey, so I'll probably get him to sign it.

i am not sure if i can speak of individual players other than seniors (I will check on that), but i am comfortable in saying that save an emergency the team will be there. 8-)

Today and this week yes. If not this week, then a half block walk. I didn't realize Bryan still had functions at his place. Waste of a great location.
