What about Luis Gonzalez (South Alabama)?? Former all-star with the Diamondbacks.

I'm sure he came to the Tigue before I ever knew this great university existed!

Brad Eldred (FIU) ....if I remember correctly he hit some mammoth homeruns....played for the Pirates sparringly a couple years ago.

Last time I spoke to him he was back in Puerto Rico, working for U.S. Customs as an inspector.

No, the Cajuns did not play the Jaguars during Gonzales' tenure.

I still say they need to put an outline of a body (like a crime scene outline) on the wall in center field with the caption "Coker was here" on the side. That guy never slowed down when going for a ball. I remember him knocking the metal panel off of the frame where ground crew had to try to reattach it (without much success) between innings. I love the scoreboard comment "Coker would have got it" that comes up during the games.

    What about Marlon Anderson???

Anderson played at South Alabama from 1993-1995

Check this out.....3 South Alabama players in the outfield for the Dodgers. I wonder if Mr. Jay Walker is happy with this situation.
