St. Petersburg, Fla. -- According to popular blogger and radio personallity Clay Travis, the University of Mississippi has come under fire from the Mississippi legislature for the recruitment of the nation's concensus No. 1 prospect Robert Nkemdiche.
Apparently, a detailed email complaint was lodged with Mississippi State Legislature's Joint Committee on Performance Evaluation and Expenditure Review alleging that Sunday Nkemdiche, Robert's father, a doctor in Georgia, has been promised a job at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
The complaint also alleges that Dr. Richard L. Summers, a Professor and Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine is the individual who planned to hire Sunday Nkemdiche. Summers's son, Stewart, is a walk-on quarterback at Ole Miss.
Because Summers' son plays for Ole Miss, he is considered a booster and providing a recruit's parent with a job would qualify as a major NCAA violation."
