Thread: Almost here!

Love me some Cajun baseball!! From what I saw last year we could use more consistent hitting and stop leaving baserunners on the field. Pitching hopefully will improve and the fielding should be strong again. I think with this home game filled schedule and the SBC tourney at Tigue Moore we will have a great season. Geaux Cajuns!

Preseason excitement is a great thing! We're undefeated baby!!

When's fan day? I wonder if RCAF and/or Diamond Club representatives will have a booth to get members...

Any responses are welcomed to hold me over until the first pitch.
I think the standard line will suffice. We are young, will be better at the end of the season than the beginning, building to a super regional in 2014 but hard to win the conference this year.

That's not saying a whole lot. We haven't been good in a while

I guess my question is how does Monroe win baseball championships with not near the facilities we have and nowhere near the crowds that come to the Tigue---Say what you want about the stadium but with people in there it is very nice for the players!!!

I'm sure this is exactly what UCLA says about our softball program.

Not sure what you are trying to say here, we have one of the top facilities in the country and one of the largest attendance for softball.

Wrong dude, I will stack up the softball facilities with UCLA any time you want, and the fan support is absurdly bad for such a storied program as UCLA.

Your question should be why would anyone play for UCLA when they could be in this unique incredibly great environment? The answer is simple they have great history.

ULM does not draw, does not win, and had a nice little run. We compete with programs like USA,WKU, and Middle. Have you seen their baseball facilities? They shame the Tigue, fans aside. It also has been a long time since a Robe team scared anyone.

We had one good year in 2010, but the we've been about .500 in four of the last five years. Not awful, but not good.

Actually, I'd have to say the baseball facilities at Monroe are pretty nice, and in the last couple of years their attendance & atmosphere has been a lot better.
