Valid point with Cord Cockrell but I see him starting in relief to make his way to a weekend starter. As far as Ben Frith goes, there is no shot he will be the Friday night starter or even a weekend starter.

I'm not sure Traffica will be ready to go 6 innings to start the season.
Also, don't count out Cord Cockrell.

I would think being the one of only 3 Seniors, leading the Texas Collegiate league in strikeouts this summer, and winning game 2 of the Fail World Series against Austin would be enough to get consideration for Frith.

If not Traffica, Frith, and Cockrell, who else would get the other weekend start?

Being a senior does not warrant you a weekend rotation spot. Going off of last season and this Fall, I just do not see him as a Friday night guy. If you go off what he did in the Summer, he may have led the league in strike outs but also had a plus 5.00 ERA and walks more people then you would like. I do think he will pitch, just not on the weekends.
Look for Carter, Wilson, and Griffit as possible options for Sundays.

Pump the brakes. ULM doesn not win championshipS. They won last year and maybe a regular season a few years early but they do not consistently win.

Last year the blind squirrel found its nut. Won't happen this year.
