LSU is offering a grey-shirt, that is something done the road. Carter has grown over 1 inch and 10 pounds since summer, he is 6-4,240 right now. For some kids in Louisiana, a grey-shirt offer from LSU is good enough. Others may want to take the chance and play early at a UL, Bilich has done a good job of working on him.

Bilich will enroll in January and sign on National Signing Day. A grey-shirt can enroll in the fall part-time and sign in the spring as well.

Cannot enroll full time. Must pay own way if enrolled.

A greyshirt enrolled in school limits his ability to attend another school and is responsible for the costs of his education.
