Marlin was owed a raise after his first season, and he tied for the sun belt west championship. It was put off to give Hud an immediate raise. So he did get paid for what he DID

We have one of the youngest team's in the country. There will be nights like tonight when we get blown out of the gym; but there have been signs of great things (i.e. versus Oakland, Duquesne, and Michigan State). It takes time to build a winning program, be patient.

Losing Brown to a broken foot is the reason for the season.

    Bench glue needed.

We had one of the "youngesttams in the country" for about TEN YEARS under that other guy...

A 42% raise for going 500, and tying for the division champ (not the conference)!? So assuming you are right and I am wrong about getting a raise for what he did, this doesn't make it sound any better to me. Nobody can convince me that Marlin earned this raise. I hope he ends up earning it, I really do and I'm not a "give me marlin's head now guy" either. I just don't think a below 500 record over the course of three years and high attrition warrants a huge raise

    Hard to argue with this.

We are STILL several players short of having the TRUE level of talent we all want...and that we NEED to contend for a Belt championship and higher goals. We just don't have the players that we had when we indeed WERE contending.

I think we are one big man away, we have the guards, just need to get long some help down low and let him play the 4

I agree. A BIG man would help tremendously

We have TWO guards at the level of what I think this program had in prior years...Peyton and Mbamalu. Wronkoski is close. Long is definitely a quality big man...really a forward having to play out of position. The rest are either waaaaay too unproven...or are just lacking...to think that we are just a big man away from prior glory years. Go back and look at some of our past rosters...and compare man to man to this roster. Not close.

You don't see successful coaches like Hud using the youth excuse! Be competitive already! I learned alot from HUD and i will not buy this bull____ anymore! Raise the bar!

This conference isnt what it was ten years ago either, but if your talking 70's,80's no we are far from that and likely will never return. I'm talking 20 win seasons and competing for outright sunbelt title, I don't think we are that far away. A big man, some experience and a little more consistency.
