So here is what i am gonna suggest...which is what a lot of us have suspected all along...you are a pathological liar...you are not a lawyer...you were never in the service...you may have some education but not much...you still live in your parents basement...etc. etc. etc. I say this because I can't imagine anyone who has supposedly served time in the armed forces, worked his way through school, got a degree and was accepted into a graduate program, performed well and actually got a job. by the way you act and the crap that you say, it just doesn't make any sense.

Kal claimed that LSU is afraid to play UL. I pointed out that LSU had crushed UL by 20 points the last time they played. In fact, LSU has beaten UL badly every time they have played in the last couple of years. SO my point was and is, why would LSU be afraid to play a school it crushes so easily? There is no logic in Kals claim, other than Kal made it up to make LSU look bad. HE LIED. simply put, he lied about LSU playing or not playing UL.

I really don't think that I am better than anyone because of where I went to school. I have worked with people who went to Ivy League schools and they are bad at everything they do (see some of Gov Blanco's staff). I have also worked with Southern grads who are out of the box thinkers and first rate lawyers.

I just want Cajunfans to rely on the truth and understand that UL is not some up and comer, it is not some diamond in the rough that only cajunfans know about, it just is what it is.

And for God's sake stop making up things-"Penthalem, Helmets, LSU is afraid to play us." Just stop lying.

The amazing thing is that you even bother with so many of us bottom feeders. If the WORLD knows what a great university you went to, and likewise dosen't have a clue about UL, who are you protecting? By the way, why are you so anti oilfield workers? They pay the salary you steal from the state every time you post here during working hours on a state owned piece of equipment. You are stealing and ridiculing a man who is superior to you in every way. Why does your being a lawyer and stealing does not surprise anyone?

You sound an awful lot like the guy who has a job with the state who posts on Delphi from time to time under several names. Go figure why the state is struggling, we have too many like ET. Instead of doing their job and helping those who might not be as competent they spend time on a message board trashing state owned properties. If we had a few less like him all the institutions could get a couple of extra dollars.

Why is anyone even reading ET's posts? Who cares if someone has worked on an oil rig there whole life? Who cares is ET is a lawyer? I sure as hell dont. There's more to life than writing personal attacks on message boards. Hopefully ET will figure that out one day.

I actually spend most of work in politics and not the actuall practice of law. However, one of the legislators that I have done work for has brought me in as Of counsel at this firm and I do quite well the projects that I do. sorry man.

Beside half the ____ you've said is a lie. LSU Law school is a top 100 not third tier, it is very hard to pass the first yr there and its grads do decent in the field.

None of this changes the simple facts:

Pepperfans make up thing about UL it make it look better.

The school is just a commuter school without a real fanbase.

Most of the posters on these cajun bds are over age 40, out of shape and believe that LSU has ruined USL.

You may be able to whip some of us. I am over 50 and still hold my own with guys half my age in the Red's pickup basketball games. Come by that court one day and see how you stack up. As far as professions go, lawyers and engineers both contribute to society. However, as far as creating wealth in the economy, lawyers contribute little. All they do is redistribute wealth from one party to another.

Fact is all Kal said was, something to the effect that in not so recent history LSU hadn't wanted to play UL in Basketball back when UL had a chance to win. He did not say "afraid" the term "afraid" is your interpretation, and in my opinion was inserted as an excuse to justify your escalation in rhetoric.

I would agree with your statement somewhat. Lawyers do generate wealth by employing staff, purchasing goods and services that go with the practice of law and they do marshal a lot of wealth between groups.

But the same can be said of any consultant, accountant, auditor, etc. These people don't create much wealth, only service the wealth created by commerce.

anyone in the legal profession will agree that there too many attys. But a large % of lawyers don't actually practice law per se. Politics is filled with lawyers who could draft a divorce petition or simple contract, but their legal education gives them a good foundation for further pursuits.
