    The Louisiana athletic department mourns the loss of freshman volleyball player Sawyer Camillo, who passed away suddenly on Saturday (Dec. 22) at her home in Argyle, Texas.

    This event still has my head spinning, I can only imagine the grief the family is going through.

    I just hope they know we are thinking of them.

    My condolences. To any who may have missed this part of the article, her family has said the following:

    "In lieu of flowers, the family of Sawyer Camillo has asked that donations be sent to the Ragin' Cajuns volleyball program. Please send donations to:

    UL Volleyball Foundation
    In Memory of Sawyer Camillo
    201 Reinhardt Drive
    Lafayette, LA 70506 "


    I haven't seen a poster mention anything about it, so I'd thought I'd bring it up.

    I had not seen it, thank you for posting it.

    Our family is praying for the Camillo family to find peace.
