I bet you were cheering when he took SOMEONE ELSE'S team to Nashville and almost beat Pitino and Louisville (I was there, were you?).

This happens. We get a streaking Milsap for 3 more years. Three really good freshman will be eligible next year as well as Barksdale back bringing the ball up the court.

We'll be fine. It's really easy to cheer when we win and really easy to criticize when we lose. Keep that in mind.

If you are a season ticket holder such as myself, how can you explain the # of empty seats ever since the man was given the job by default and has only had sucess off of another mans players.Sorry if my one little opinion upsets you.But I am being real on this I am from Lafayette, born and raised,I also take part in community events as a volunteer you hear of noone who is anybody with stroke that even whispers anything about Lee or his program.Tell me that I am wrong when I say that Lafayette does not back him as a coach.I don't care if Dr.A or the AD back him the bottom line is that they have a facillity that holds 12,000 plus and Lee is drawing less then 1,500 fans that sucks.

You mean 3 freshman were ineligible this year? I thought that problem was fixed when Evans left!!! Some things never change.

How many fans were we averaging before Lee? weren't even close to filling the dome then either.

They came out of high school needing grades. They didnt flunk out once they were on the team..ala Evans.

    There is a big difference.

By the way, I believe they are all eligible for next season....Imagine that?

So he recruited props? Gee, again, I thought that was something that was taken care of when Evans left.

They haven't been here four or five years yet correct? Let's measure it when the time comes and then we can look at pure numbers. As for changes, no ahtletes on academic suspension and all on target towards eligibilty. Sounds like a hell of a lot has changed. Sure it has not been a good year, but my standard is to win and graduate athletes. That is the exact standard the NCAA now has in place with the 5/8 rule and that is the direction I believe this staff is headed. If the direction of this program is not changed next year, then I will certainly give you and others your due. But I also want some of you to man up if he does what I expect next year, finish with a winning record.

No. I mean redshirted freshman like Daigle. At least I think he was redshirted...

My point being, they will have 4 years of eligibility.

I am a season ticket holder and I care about the attendance. But I first make sure that I am there and make sure to bring as many people as possible. They all have a great time but have other prioritites.

Have you ever thought that maybe the players we have on the court are just a different style than the ones before? People would come to see Dwayne Mitchell, and for good reason because he could throw down as good as anyone I've seen on SportsCenter. And the tenacity of Orien Greene was just awesome. Mouton and Dees aren't that much less than those two guys, but their styles are different. I believe that in time, Milsap will be just as exciting as anyone before him once he learns and grows UNDER LEE.

And although you get people in the stands with exciting players, you ultimately get them there by winning. And nobody here will disagree with you. But you have to have more than 12 posts on here to come in and say something negative and not have the regulars on here stand behind their University.

I want to win just as bad as you. But it is hardly one person's fault. If you are a season ticket holder as you say you are and went to all the games, you have to admit that this year's team never jelled like they should. That team that I watched lay it all on the court in Nashville was a TEAM. They knew each other like the back of their hand. Tiras would just camp out behind the 3-point line and wait for someone to give him the ball. Hamilton hustling up and down the court. Dwayne showtiming. They each had their role and it fit. This team just didn't fit. But I believe that the youth on this team and playing together for the next 2 to 3 years will work wonders and we won't be talking only about baseball at the beginning of March.

Like I said: easy to love a winning team; easy to hate a losing team. But enduring this is what makes a Cajun fan a real Cajun fan. Otherwise, we would be dressed in Purple and Gold.
