His team may have lost to North Texas twice this year, but UL basketball coach Robert Lee said his squad may have a mental advantage Wednesday when the Ragin' Cajuns make history.

For the first time since joining the Sun Belt Conference, UL will play a true "road" game in Sun Belt Tournament competition when the Cajuns (9-20, 7-11) meet the host Mean Green (19-10, 10-8) at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday in UNT's Super Pit in Denton.

With the expansion of the league to 13 teams this year, the league moved its five first-round games to campus sites and the survivors of those games will join the three top seeds in the Sunday quarterfinals at the Cajundome.

"Mentally, we're going to have to be tough, because we've never been in this situation before," Lee said of his team playing on a hostile court in tournament play. "Our intensity level is going to be important, and we'll see how our freshman react to that."
