Season long look at UL's trek through the Baseball RPI rankings

NEW ORLEANS-Cox Sports Television (CST) was awarded exclusive rights to the 2007 NCAA baseball regional tournament in College Station this weekend. The double-elimination tournament will feature the host Texas A&M Aggies as the No. 1 seed, Louisiana’s Ragin Cajuns as the No. 2 seed, the Buckeyes of Ohio State as the No. 3 seed and the Le Moyne Dolphins as the No. 4 seed. All the games will air live Olsen Field on the campus of Texas A&M University. Cox Communications customers in Lafayette will see games on channel 37. The College Station regional is one of 16 regionals in action this weekend throughout the country. The winner of this double-elimination regional will advance to the Super Regionals to play the winner of the Houston Regional where Rice enters as the No. 1 seed. What kind of an operation are you working for? I've told all of the lsu@br folks I work with to take tomorrow afternoon off and tune into Cox at 1pm.

I sure hope it gets aired over here in refineryville. It wouldn't be the first time I arranged to watch a UL game and Cox BR was airing a 1979 football game between Ole Miss and Auburn.

I work for the company whose station is broadcasting the game!

I'm in a call center, though, and I requested off too late.

Trust me, I did not make the same mistake for the Super Regionals.
