Thanks. I knew it was somewhere out there.Originally Posted by cjr3888
I just looked at the stats and we have 126 strikeouts through 20 games. That's over 6 a game. That is unacceptable, especially considering the caliber of pitching we have faced this year.
I sure hope we can get it together for tonight and tomorrow night as well as for Florida Atlantic this weekend. The series against Fl. Atl. is huge, but so are the two games against McNeese relative to RPI.
Cajuns need to go no less than 4-1 this week.Originally Posted by cajunproud

Dropped five spots to 30, which is what happens when you play a team with a very low rpi.Originally Posted by crazycajun
But not to fret. We can more than take care of that by beating FAU this weekend.
jay what was the final answer with mcneese batting out of order? Did they ever get it right? Also did justin finsh the game or did we bring in someone to close i went to sleep before the end of the game.Originally Posted by BirdofParadise
Technically, no they never got it right. Because they never corrected the umpires mistake, they were always one batter behind the rest of the night.Originally Posted by crazycajun
Justin finished the fifth, and pitched the sixth and seventh. Solich pitched the eighth and gave up two runs. Farquhar pitched the ninth.
did robe give any hint of who will get the sunday start or will that be a game time decision?Originally Posted by BirdofParadise
They are TBA for Sunday.Originally Posted by crazycajun
Actually once Faul got that first pitch after Zabasky led off the second inning, it was moot point because that then becomes the proper batting order.Originally Posted by BirdofParadise
What would have been interesting if Zabasky had got on base instead of striking out and Rob would have come out to contest the batting order. The reason that would have been interesting was that the McNeese coaches had asked the home plate umpire who the proper batter was to start the second inning and he eroneously told them Zabasky. That argument would have got interesting.
Doc
All this just goes to show you how our team's mental attitude sucks right now. Since Fackler doesn't have a degree it will interesting to see who ends up as head coach after the season. I guess that is one thing our new A.D. will get to deal with.
I JUST DONT UNDERSTAND WHY A COACH WOULD HAVE TO ASK THE UMPIRE WHO STARTS THE INNING OFF...IF YOU CANT KEEP TRACK OF THIS THEN YOU SHOULKDN'T BE A DIVISON 1 COACH...Originally Posted by McNeese72
