You could have left out the "Division 1" part. If you can't keep track of your batting order, you shouldn't be a coach at any level, not even T ball. Every coach I know keeps a scorebook in the dugout, or at least a lineup card showing who's up next.

What would have been interesting if Zabasky had got on base instead of striking out and Rob would have come out to contest the batting order. The reason that would have been interesting was that the McNeese coaches had asked the home plate umpire who the proper batter was to start the second inning and he eroneously told them Zabasky. That argument would have got interesting.

All this just goes to show you how our team's mental attitude sucks right now. Since Fackler doesn't have a degree it will interesting to see who ends up as head coach after the season. I guess that is one thing our new A.D. will get to deal with.
Rumor has it that the head coach at St. Louis High School may be the next headcoach.

The headcoach from Jennings High School Jared Owens is rumored to be the assistant.

  7. UL Baseball Base and Adjusted RPI

The Cajuns now have a Base RPI of 29 (.5947) and an Adjusted RPI of 27 (.5989). I use the SEBaseball.com RPI calculations, which do include tie games (as does the official NCAA RPI formula).

Adjusted RPI bonus games for the Cajuns include ...

    - One win over Southern Mississippi (Base RPI of 2). (1st level bonus)
    - One win over Southeastern Louisiana (Base RPI of 50) (2nd level bonus)

The three road wins over Texas-San Antonio do not qualify for the bonus since their Base RPI is sixteen slots outside of the Top 75.

Some upcoming RPI bonus opportunities include ...

    (1) at Tulane (Base RPI of 56) (3rd level bonus)
    (3) at Arizona State (Base RPI of 16) (1st level bonus)

Houston is moving up and is close to the bonus range with a Base RPI of 78.

    That is great.

We deserve to be there, and in my opinion, we deserve to be in the top 25.

Meanwhile, the morons at baseball america have teams with 7, 8, 9 and 10 losses in their top 25, yet the Cajuns are nowhere in sight. Whoever conducts their poll must live or be from the West coast. Complete BS.
