I like the early start, made Bourbon much easier to navigate on Saturday night, shoe shiners not withstanding.
Actually we did . Last years game was in the middle of hs mid term exams. This year we stayed all weekend!!

It really is! And its also impressive to see the NO Bowl above several very well established bowls (Sun bowl, Gator bowl etc.). And as we all know, this is 100% because of Cajun Nation. We should all be very proud

I just saw Ragin Cajun boots at Big Lots in Gonzales, LA. I'm not sure if I'm more surprised to find Ragin Cajun gear at Big Lots or in Gonzales.

Gonzales, now we are talking! Any other gear besides boots?

I wish the Walgreens around here had Cajun gear. It's all LSU and the Saints. At one time they even had a few Tech items. Not anymore. I don't guess they could sell the Bulldogs gear this far south.

They're waiting waiting to put out their bowl shirts.

I will not buy into the argument that there are too many bowl game. Frankly, I love bowl season regardless of who's participating. I try to catch at least a little of as many games as I can. Now that's not to say that many of the games are probably not worth watching for more than a few minutes, but the same can be said for the majority of the regular season games on tv.

As far as the atmospheres go, it all depends on the team, the opponent, the fans, and the venue/city. The Indy Bowl didn't really have an overwhelming advantage in these aspects.
