Thats amazing that we were only 5350 shy of the Sugar Bowl in the same DOME.
I just saw Ragin Cajun boots at Big Lots in Gonzales, LA. I'm not sure if I'm more surprised to find Ragin Cajun gear at Big Lots or in Gonzales.
Once again Walgreens has stepped up and after having the UL sans lafayette Ts now has the Bowl shirts with the score and are getting ready to sell out ----people are just stupid about what sells and what doesn't---W-Dixie across the street keeps their Lafayettes on the shelf and they stay there----The store manager at W-Greens said the same thing last year---selling like crazy and yes they have sold over a thousand in 2 years!!!!---oooppppsss-forgot to mention the W-Greens in ABBEVILLE!!!!
Give me more cow bell, I need more cow bells.............

I will not buy into the argument that there are too many bowl game. Frankly, I love bowl season regardless of who's participating. I try to catch at least a little of as many games as I can. Now that's not to say that many of the games are probably not worth watching for more than a few minutes, but the same can be said for the majority of the regular season games on tv.
As far as the atmospheres go, it all depends on the team, the opponent, the fans, and the venue/city. The Indy Bowl didn't really have an overwhelming advantage in these aspects.
