We are the first Sun Belt team to win it twice in a row. Back to Back. Hoax just going back.

USM fan sent it to me. He says the source is: @Ourand_SBJ

    Previous nos, http://www.al.com/sports/index.ssf/2...rage_bowl.html

The other numbers are based on a point being about 1.18M households.

The Cajuns are also only the second team in Sun Belt history to win bowl games in back-to-back years. The other was FAU in 2007 and '08.

I think our biggest medium-term goal needs to be to generate a $25 million budget before any conference subsidies. We are at 13 right now, with essentially no financial support from our conference through bowl tie ins, TV deals, etc. RCAF is still a baby, and will only continue to grow.

I certainly don't think that CUSA or MWC should be our permanent goal. When we get the next conference invite, which will happen if things continue the way that they are going, then we have to keep the same hunger and intensity. The day we hit $25 million, we need to be _____ing on this board about what can we do to get up to $26. The day we get the CUSA invite, we need to start figuring out what we can do to be better than CUSA.

    Date Bowl Attendance
15-Dec-12 Gildan New Mexico Bowl 24,610
15-Dec-12 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl 29,243
20-Dec-12 San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl 35,442
    21-Dec-12 Beef 'O' Brady's Bowl St. Petersburg 21,759
    22-Dec-12 R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl 48,828
22-Dec-12 Maaco Bowl Las Vegas 33,217

And the Russell Athletic Bowl attendance looks thin in the upper decks, so don't know their numbers.. And we actually put 48,000 + butts in the Superdome, not some of these bogus, we sold numbers..

A&M was seriously over ranked at the beginning of that year (not as bad as the Hogs this year) and their final record reflected that. I was at the game and it was great but would have been much better had Aggies finished a highly ranked or even a ranked team that year.
