Did I tell you your son and about 30 others spent SuperBowl afternoon at my home? He is a really good kid. He has that Angelle twinkle in his eye, so I know he is a bit canaille(sp?) at times, maybe? LOL. He showed up with a King Cake. Ya'll did a good job!

David Walker will be the new Athletic Director---Book It!!!!! Was it Lou Gherig(sp) that took the place of a starter one day---He is a natural--All have been impressed and all like him--Ask Bop what he thinks--By the way ---He now has more experience than probably all the applicants would have--Made schedules,took on NCAA violations, made contracts that brought in bucks, Seems to get along with his peers, Not sure on hiring any coaches!!!! What do the members think????

I really hate to complain right now. The baseball team is doing great, the softball team is amazing, the ladies basketball team is phenomenal and the men's basketball team is showing a great deal of improvement and is building excitement for next year.

BUT ................ damit, it is exactly at this time when interest is high that we (UL) needs to be visible and actively promoting itself.

Where in the hell is our new AD, and don't tell me budget issues because that is a crock of S # $ T!!!!!

You know, if people around the area or around the country want to get info on the sports programs and how they are doing, the University website would be a great place to go. Fortunately we have this site, but not everybody knows about it.

It just gets soo frustrating especially when I know that we are our own worst enemies. We are always complaining that we are treated like second class citizens, but that is how we treat ourselves.

This is frickin rediculous. Has the search committee even met to discuss the AD position in the last month, two months.....?

Like I said at the beginning of this post, I hate to be negative at right now when there is so much to be positive about, but in my excitement I am trying to get as much info about the sports program as I can, and other than this site............... NOTHING. Jay Walker won't answer any real questions, the _______r is well, the _______r and the rest of time I have to hear about LSU.

The Sign on the corner of Bertrand and W. Congress will be going up in the near future! It has taken some time as there were some engineering issues! DocRaginCajun(Dean Zappii) was contacted by Gerald Hebert and the rest is history, our engineering dept worked things out with some outside involvement and the problems were worked out and this project WILL make you proud!

I spoke with David Walker at the UL vs. UH game in Houston. He said that he has been doing this a long, long time and is ready to retire. He is only working as an interim AD to help Dr. A through this process. He does not want to be the permanent AD.

For the 100th time. The AD search isnt going to take place until we have the NCAA findings come out. If we are dragging our heels after that, then maybe I'll get a little hot and bothered myself. Too much good stuff happening to muck it up with negativity.

Z, I'm not saying this to be a smart a %$, but what does the NCAA investigation have to do with hiring a new AD?

Unless the entire athletic program is going to get the death penalty, which it isn't, why not continue the search. No matter what happens with the investigation, we still need an AD.

What does "soon" mean? Before the days of political correctness and "spin", I used to know what these simple words meant, but today, I have no idea.

I've been hearing, "soon" we will have a new AD, "soon" the athletic web site will be up........ blah, blah, blah

Somebody please tell me what "SOON" means.
