Don't worry about that you will not get to watch any weekday practices anyway. It would be nice if the spring game is before a baseball game.

Last year there was a scrimmage (don't remember if it was the spring game) the day of a baseball game.Originally Posted by jleb
It was the Spring game. There was a baseball game right after. And if I remember correctly, it was a special jersey auction day (maybe the throwback jersey?).Originally Posted by rhineaux
By the way, I guess I could ahve included this earlier, but I heard that practice starts next week, on the 7th, and that the game is on the 31st. not sure what the baseball schedule is that day.Originally Posted by CajunCherokee

A new era in the UL football program begins today when the Ragin' Cajuns open spring drills for the 2007 season.
New coordinators will be in place for head coach Rickey Bustle when practice kicks off at 3:30 p.m., and new offensive coordinator Blake Anderson will be revamping the Cajun offense with a new quarterback in charge.
Defensively, coordinator Kevin Fouquier will take charge of a unit that will enter drills with a different, and multiple, philosophy.
"We don't want all these changes to be a setback," said Bustle, whose team finished a disappointing 6-6 overall and 3-4 in league play last fall after being picked to win the Sun Belt Conference title. "On both sides, we want to feel good about how much our players understand what we're putting in.
"It's not going to be how much we get in, it's how we execute what we do get in. We're not going to throw mud on the wall and see what sticks."
