The longest winning streak in the Sun Belt Conference is on the line today.

But UL's men's basketball squad should be used to the pressure. The Ragin' Cajuns have had their collective backs to the wall for most of the past month.

The Cajuns (9-18, 7-9 Sun Belt) play their final regular-season road game of the season at 4:30 p.m. today at Florida International, meeting the Golden Panthers (11-15, 6-10) in a rare mid-week afternoon game at FIU's Pharmed Arena. UL's women face FIU in the second half of the twinbill about 6:30 p.m.

It's a much bigger game for both teams than the conference records may indicate, since the league race is in its final week and the Cajuns are fighting tooth and nail to make sure today's game is their last road appearance.
