More importantly, that is 8,000 more than Tech has EVER sold for a bowl game, and about 10,000 more than any SBC team has ever sold for a bowl game. Important recruiting tool.

Awesome, it will be a no decision when the I-bowl goes shopping for teams in the future. When it comes to tech or UL that is.

C USA see what you are missing, UL in the Super Dome, vs TooLame in the same facility. Do not take them back, nobody in the dome, nobody watching them on television, they just blew up the Big East.

Talked to someone yesterday in the ticket office who felt that they had enough order forms in front of them to get them to as much as 24,000.

This is how Boise State did it early one. They dominated the Humanitarian (now Famous Idaho Potato) Bowl and established a bowl record. We are, in turn, doing everything we need to do in the New Orleans Bowl. ECU laughed when we predicted we would have more fans at the N.O. Bowl than our average attendance but it looks like we will do just that. Congrats Cajun fans. That is how you build a program, keep a good coach and get noticed by other conferences.

I know a lot of us were disappointed in the average attendance this year. I am sure Hud was also disappointed. stAte has been telling everyone that they led the conference in attendance this year. Well . . . when it comes time to show up in N.O. for the bowl game we will exceed expectations. Way to go Cajun fans. Let's pack the Dome again.

it would look better on tv to wrap us around the bowls 100-300 level than to stick us in the 600 nosebleed section especially when they are charging us the same for crap 600 level tickets as 100-300 level tickets
