    The exodus continues. Who's next?

I was just a little confused. Seems to be a little contradictory.
No confusion on my part. Just limited to 140 characters on each Twitter post. I do think it's naive for anyone to look at what's happened over the past few years since Marlin took over and immediately blame the departed players and former coach(es) for all of the transfers and issues. Some people are still doing that. There's a shared responsibility here. Doesn't mean I think Marlin deserves to be fired or lose his job. I'd just like to see a more critical look at what exactly is going on. I believe Marlin is a quality Xs and Os coach and has the track record to rebuild the program, but at this point that's becoming more and more difficult with every transfer moving forward given they're his guys.

I was told Sunday night that Moss had packed up his dorm and already moved out. He wasn't at practice Sunday and didn't show up Monday either. As for academics, final exams for the fall semester were last week.

Neither Raymone or JJ left mid semester. Each finished the academic year. Raymone helped the APR with A 3.0 GPA and JJ had his summer tuition at UL covered by Marlin via athletic funds (hum) even after signing with Cal Northridge.

    Hah!

That is exactly what happened to Robert Lee when Elijah Millsap was courted by the UAB coach after a game.

At what point should we get concerned? We just lost to McNeese and now his guys are leaving...

Reread what I said. I said they CAN hurt the APR if they don't stay and finish their classes here. Never said they left school mid semester. By leaving I meant leaving the team, not the school. I know JJ finished the semester, someone I know had a class with him.

The McNeese loss was all about the possession game, more specifically the turnovers.

Coach Marlin tried to go to the bench to spell our starters and we lost a 10 point lead as soon as the subs got in. We never came back from that. In the second half he just left the starters in and you could see them running out of gas at the end. You need players who can come off the bench and contribute so your best 5 can have something left in the last 5 minutes of the game. Moss is a big guy, we sure could use him to spell Long and get rebounds.
