Now that I know Charles Beasley critiqued the project, I have confidence in it.
The athletic liaison and fund raising liaison read Ragin Pagin to get a pulse for on-line community.
The information here along with other sources eventually makes its way to the top of Administration, Athletics, Alumni, and Foundation to aid in their decision-making.
However, Ragin Pagin is not "organized" and "unified" like the Save Fletcher Hall group (with facebook page) which made an immediate impact in a short period of time with positive results.
Ragin Pagin is often like a "circular" firing squad ... just review this thread and others related to this topic.
An organized effort with leaders and followers would have more impact and better results.
That's not a bad assessment. I would add that, RP, in it's raw nature, is the best place to check pulses on a regular basis. It is a great way for a leader to see where flows of thought are starting and gaining momentum. There aren't many organized causes for each of the topics generated on here.
When the circular firing squads are pervasive on fan forums, it's a prime indicator the leadership is managing information poorly.
