Frankly, the random person who answers the phone for the RCAF probably knows just as much as you or I about how the tickets are assigned. Our group spoke with Matt before the bowl was even announced about grouping tickets together of an equal RCAF donation level, and their answer was simple. Turn them in all at once, preferably stapled. That's what was done and now we have a group of 34 in section 113. No crazy shenanigans here.

I don't think anything "funny" was going on, but this information was not available to the general public or stated on the form to be turned in. There was a lot of confusion. But with so much happening so fast it's easy to understand why.

I asked the lady on the phone if someone donated $600 and someone donated $601 what happens? She said $601 gets seated first, so I figured with people donating different ammounts that there would be no way to sit with the people in my group without surrending (or being bumped down) my spot on the priority list. Oh well, live & learn.
I'm in the All Cajun ($1000 to $2500) and my buddy is in the All Conference ($500 to $1000). And the two of us have a total of 6 season tickets. We combined our request form for 10 seats. We are in the Club Level section 311 ($40 tickets). We were certainly targeting the $60 tickets, but ended up where we are. As we've looked at that location, we are quite happy. I was on the Plaza level with the same group last year. The seats were fine, but I like the 311 section much better. I would not be concerned that I "ended up" with 300 level seats. I seriously do not believe people in the Plaza level have better seats than we do.

When you say "live and learn"... I think you are going to live through this Club level seating and learn that you were in fact gifted with some really good seats at $40 a pop. Have a blast in New Orleans and enjoy yourself at the game!

6 in 313 row 13---Looks like about the 40 yd line if you go to the Superdome website. They have a 3D view from your seat.

I understand what you're saying, but there is only so much information you can put on a form or press release before things start to get lost to some people.

That's why we inquired with the ticket office.

Maybe a good thing for them to do next year is on the "Tickets" section of the athletic website have a FAQ page that would address questions like these. I thought grouping the orders was a sort of "no brainer" if everyone gives at the same level. The ticket office saw it the same way and were willing to accommodate. It just took a visit/phone call to make sure we did it right.

I tailgate with a group of people and we are all RCAF donors at the same level and our tickets are no where close to each other. I was simply wondering how they assign tickets.

Dude, did you see someone post and ask how some of us got 300 level tickets? I was simply responding to him how I got my 300 level tix. Are we allowed to respond to questions on this forum?
Brah, (I think this is a even better way to start a sentence!!) sorry I didn't see the one post where you actually stopped complaining. I just assumed you were still _____ing about your tickets because that's what you've been doing despite people telling you right away that your tickets were awesome.

Honestly, I'm sick of all the complaining on here. It gets old from time to time. And it really grinds my gears when people complain about stuff even though they have no idea what the hell they're even talking about. Sorry for hurting your e-feelings dude!

You also could have grouped together even at different rcaf levels, just had to take priority seating of the lowest level donor. I think they have been very accommodating, what other major events do you even have a chance of seating more than 4 together much less 30 people.

Section 111, Rows 29 and 30. You'll know us when you see us; Vermilion Parish will be represented well.
