Anyone got conformation on the bunker club?
DUDE!!! Why didn't you put your ticket request with your friends!?!? There are probably a number of reasons your tickets aren't close. My guess is if there are X number of donors at X donation level, then the requests may be filled first come first serve. Were you late to the party? Did your friends turn in their forms at a different time than you. Our group did the smart thing and stapled all of our requests together to form one big group. The forms that were together were all people at the same RCAF giving level.
Also FYI, your seats are some of the best in the dome, and you're probably paying less per ticket than your friends if the Terrace is actually $40/ticket like everyone is saying that it is.
I'm the OP and I still haven't gotten my call... what's the deal here?? I thought for sure by starting this thread that the UL Ticket Office would notice me and give me a call sooner rather than later.
What a bunch of shannanigans.
OH WAIT, I started the "got the call" thread.... oh well they all look the same these days.
DUDE!! I can't wait for the New Orleans Bowl!

DUDE!!! No, we didn't put all our requests in together. I was unaware that that was even an option. I called the RCAF and they told me that it did not matter when the forms were turned in. They told me that everyone in RCAF who turned in a request on or before Dec 6th would be treated equally and that RCAF donation amount would dictate where you would be assigned seats.
I asked the lady on the phone if someone donated $600 and someone donated $601 what happens? She said $601 gets seated first, so I figured with people donating different ammounts that there would be no way to sit with the people in my group without surrending (or being bumped down) my spot on the priority list. Oh well, live & learn.

Just got "the call". They wouldn't tell me where the tickets were on the phone, but they did say that they were getting close to 13,000 processed with tons that they were trying to get to. It sounded like one of those old "Southern Siding" commercials commercials with people talking and phones going off in the background. It must be nuts over there!!
I guess the RCAF didn't help me too much since I went over my priority ticket number as I ended up with 13,000 tickets before me.
For future reference, you need to ask the guy who actually does the seating. His name is Matt Casbon, and he's in charge of the ticket office. He isn't hard to reach.
Frankly, the random person who answers the phone for the RCAF probably knows just as much as you or I about how the tickets are assigned. Our group spoke with Matt before the bowl was even announced about grouping tickets together of an equal RCAF donation level, and their answer was simple. Turn them in all at once, preferably stapled. That's what was done and now we have a group of 34 in section 113. No crazy shenanigans here.
