We skipped the line at acme and went to Felix's. Great decision.
I was lucky enough not to have a line at ACME about 5:30 on Saturday. Had the charbroiled oysters and the half fish/half shimp platter. Really enjoyed it.
Someone told me about the Royal House Oyster bar having the best French Onion soup in the city, but we didn't get a chance to try it. My favorite from New Orleans for French Onion soup used to be Houlihan's on Bourbon, but it's been gone for a while.
disappointed in Irenes---Bourbon House was great ---and I got my stuffed Lobster at Drago's----Dragos was wall to wall Cajuns!!!
Stopped at a place on N Peters called St Lawrence last Friday. They had Poutine on the menu. If anyone is wondering what Poutine is...it's french fries and gravy...and it's amazing. Place had a great beer selection...was drinking Newcastle Werewolf. God I love New Orleans.
