UL coming in at #1 in the Sun Belt.

Bottom Line: Filling 94 percent of the stadium does the trick, though grabbing eight regular season wins helps.

That said, Cajun Field is known to fill up, even in down years, and the university is known for delivering a nice bang for one's buck.

For these reasons, Cajun Field is the No. 1 field in the Sun Belt Conference.

The 2009 addition of Dawgzilla, a Jumbotron, adds greatly to the stadium's overall appeal.Other than that, it's a pretty standard college football stadium, which, incidentally, has never sold out.

You guys are always giving Tech a hard time about Joe Aillet but improvements are slowly being made. You laugh at Dawzilla, our jumbotron but it's definitely enhanced the game experience. There's been a lot of talk on here about the the UL master plan & y'all's stadium improvements. CUSA wants to see this from their schools. Our campus is making great strides in infrastructure & while I feel we have a ways to go with our stadium, our Q4E endzone sports complex is definitely a step in the right direction. If you have a couple minutes, google "La Tech Quest for Excellence" & watch the short video. Pretty cool stuff! I hope they break ground soon.

Huh, that's funny cause we had around 26,000 for our last home game. Far from sold out but heading in right direction. No one said anything about great. But seriously, y'all are constantly talking about y'all's master plan & need for stadium improvements like we do....hopefully we'll break ground this year, but that remains to be seen. Are UL's Stadium plan still in design phase or...?
