Anyone know if there are any RCAF plans? I have no idea what they do or sponsor... just wondering if there are any events.

We definitely could do that, we probably should do that. Maybe we could have a wheel of FCS where if you donate a grand you can spin the wheel and pick the next FCS school to join the Belt. j/k
But, seriously, its a good idea. Would be an opportunity to show of the "Master Plan"
Heck 6 beers got me to up a level, I think I was begging for an arm twister though
Already been done. Now if they take my advice is another question.
They should do a pre-party on Friday.
I think it should be a no brainer to have a HUGE RCAF membership drive at the NO Bowl! A great suggestion. Although our regular attendance at home games for the past couple of years has ranged from 21,000 to 29,000, it is my undersanding that the actual RCAF membership currently includes only about 1800 to 2000 members. To get where we want to be we need RCAF donations in volume, because it appears we don't have a whale out there at this time.
If it is true that ticket sales for the NO Bowl are expected to exceed last years numbers, that means there will be at least 30,000 Cajun fans in New Orleans to support the Cajuns. Well, what better way to show that support than by joining the RCAF? People going to New Orleans for the Bowl will be going and expecting to spend money while in N.O. Let's try to get them to spend some of it by signing up for the RCAF for 2013. Even if all 2000 current RCAF members are at the Bowl game, that means there will be another 28,000 potential members there. If the RCAF can get even 5% to join, that would be 1400 new members, or almost double the current enrollment.
Based on the events of the past few weeks, I think everyone is in agreement that one of the keys to our future success is to build the RCAF. We need to seize every opportunity and I can't see where there is a better opportunity to solicit new members than when you can have 30,000+ fans in a single place!
You are counting my one RCAF membership of me and my wife as one while counting us as two for attendance. It gets worse when you have a family of 4-5.
Take your attendance and divide it by 3.5 to figure families in.
