If you disagree then please give your reason for close game with Cal St. Fullerton and then 40 point loss, as an example.
Re your other responses, yes there is more talent coming in it seems but that does not mean improvement in wins and losses and returning to being competitive nationally and not just in sunbelt. Cajuns have had trouble beating inferior talented teams for the past two years.
The La Tech win was nice, but really now, that team is terrible this year. The loss by 40 to the southland team was very bad, but both La Tech and that southland team would not be at upper half of sunbelt this year, most likely.
At the end of the day 20+ loss seasons are extremely poor, especially when in a lower level than usual sunbelt. I hope things turn around, but for now things are bad and I doubt they are going to get much better. I hope I am wrong.
You can argue that this year's team is good and that things look great for next year all you want. The facts, wins and losses and some blowout losses tend to get in the way of your take on things.
I just want the Cajuns to return to a winning tradition. Can't expect to have great year every year, but this year is much worse than simply a rebuilding year and the talent and experience level on this current team is much better than barely making the sunbelt tourney. If this team was at .500 overall, then I could see a big argument of the subpar year being due to inexperience, but the current record goes way beyond a rebuilding year.
