The best "away" look for UL is the white jersey with black paints. I'd say go with that and a black helmet with the FDL on the side. Nothing wrong with stealing some brand recognition from the Saints.

Looking at old Nola bowl pictures it seemed that sunbelt representative always had dark uniforms?

Away team does not HAVE to wear white jerseys. If the home team request to wear white (i.e. LSU) and away team has no problem with it, then the away team wears home jerseys.

The only reason we are on the visitor side is because our side is the tv side and will be packed. We still should be designated the home team like the SBC team always is. Therefore, I say go with the best classy look. Red helmets and jerseys with white pants
