Hmmm??? They must work for The Wizard. Zee, your boy's slipping.
This is what I received on Monday.
Dear UL Alumni Association Member,
YOUR Alumni Association has made arrangements for bus transportation to and from New Orleans for the 2012 R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl on Saturday, December 22nd at 11:00 a.m.
As a benefit of your membership, we are opening up our bus trip to you first, from Monday, December 3rd till Friday, December 7th. After December 7th, we will open the bus trip to the general public, space permitting.
The cost per rider is $40.00 per member/$50.00 non-member, which includes bus transportation to and from New Orleans, refreshments and snacks while on the bus.
This package DOES NOT include a game ticket! For game tickets, please call the UL Ticket Office located in the Cajun Dome at 337.265.2170 or log on to www.ragincajuns.com/bowlcentral .
Buses will depart from in front of the Alumni Center at 6:30 a.m. SHARP on Saturday, December 22nd. The buses will return to Lafayette approximately 45 after the conclusion of the game. From our experience last year, 45 minutes allowed plenty of time for our riders to witness the New Orleans Bowl trophy presentation.
NO RESERVATIONS will be accepted via voicemail. To reserve your seat, please have your credit card ready and call our office Monday - Thursday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. or Friday, 8:30 a.m. - noon.
Once you have registered with us and your seat is reserved, there will be NO REFUNDS issued.
Thanks.
So, I guess living in New Orleans Metro means I do not need to renew my alumni dues, not much in benefits, not much in pushing athletics forward, but oh, yea those skiing trips are wonderful Mardi Gras week.
Maybe they targeted local alumni as someone in metro New Orleans may not want to catch a bus in Lafayette to watch a game in New Orleans.
