Teurlings Catholic's senior Allyson Hollier was afraid the knee injury she suffered at the beginning of the soccer season, would do more than end her career with the Lady Rebels.

She was concerned it would prevent her from fulfilling her dream of playing college soccer.

But on Thursday afternoon, Hollier's concern was all for not as she signed a national letter of intent with the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns.

"I'm so excited," Hollier said. "Not being able to play college soccer because of my injury did come into my mind. I was worried, because playing college soccer is something I've always been looking forward to doing."

When asked what helped ease her concerns, Hollier said "Cajuns coach Scot Wieland."
