Don't know when but they will play in the Scrubbing Bubbles Toilet Bowl.

So I noticed from the schedule that we are the only bowl game on Dec. 22nd. Somebody posted not too long ago that this was because the ESPN Monday night game was moved to Saturday night because Monday is Christmas Eve.

Anybody have the scoop on why we are playing this early since there are no other bowl games that day?

The NFL game and the Hornets home game that night have something to do with it I'd imagine.

If I'm reading the schedule right the Maaco Bowl is on after ours at 3:30 Eastern. I think they could have been OK pushing both games back an hour to start at 1 and 4:30 Eastern with the NFL game at 8:30 like they usually do, but who knows.

New Orleans is an event city, they have stuff at the superdome and arena at the same time alot. I don't think that has anything to do with it. Nothing espn would care about, that's who makes the times.
