Regardless, your point about dropping our bottom of the conference and adding better football teams is not lost on me. This is a better football conference because of this move AND I think after the play has begun next year we will be a little happier with our situation. CUSA IS NOT THE ANSWER.

This and we've beat Browning every time we've played him (even under Bustle).

Should make for a fun game at Cajun Field next year, especially since we "ran" the score up on em this year!

Oh wait, can we do like tech and not play them? wimps

Broadway will be the best QB in the league next year.

I guess the question is can he get to the SEC straight from UL. I know Freeze did it but if he doesn't see it happening then I think it's probable that he will look to go elsewhere.

That's the question ...my answer is yes, but mine isn't the one that matters.

I think after those comments if offered he may leave for equal money. Before last week one could say it would be a lateral move not anymore.

Anyone have any info on who they are interviewing and when a coach should be named?
Blake Anderson has been mentioned as an early leader. He was USM's offensive coordinator under Larry Fedora before joining him at UNC. Anderson was the OC/QBs coach for the Cajuns in 2007 and previously at MTSU.

Other candidates from a recent story in the Hattiesburg newspaper: Cajuns offensive coordinator Jay Johnson, Florida State associate head coach/special teams coordinator Eddie Gran, Oklahoma State offensive coordinator Todd Monken, ULM coach Todd Berry and Texas Tech offensive coordinator Neal Brown.
