Thread: O-Linemen under addressed

  1. UL Football O-Linemen under addressed

I'm excited about the signing of Kyle PLOUHAR and Jaron ODOM, all 635 pounds of them.

However I think winning begins and ends at the line of scrimmage, and thus I think you should sign 3 or 4 linemen a year.

Turb, I agree totally; but we also had needs in other areas; and have the very good problem of not having many scholarships to give. Look for a surprise or two down the road on this front.

    You are right.

I am real anxious to see how OL Damon Lawrence from Pasadena contributes this year. He is already on the team.

Are you referring to a late signee or the addition of walk-ons?

What do you mean "O-Linemen under dressed"? Have you tried to put cloth around that size? They can't help it! Whasamatawitu?

Oh, and I think we should assign 5 lineman every year, and in every game. If you are allowed 11 players on the field, 5 should be true lineman. Geez!

Isnt Pirtle bulking up to play line? I think he was recruited as a TE. But I agree with recruiting at least 3 a year, if you lose one just one out of two for any reason, it can hurt in a bad way.
